Alex has written a book called "Tell Me the Story". Based on ancient documents, it is a series of dramatic first person accounts of people who actually either knew Jesus or were trying to investigate him. Some were profoundly moved, some had regrets, some didn't understand what was going on at all, but no one was left the same.

"...a series of stories that superbly manage to retell well known historical facts in a way that magically takes us to the lands and times in which they happened."
Manuel Reaño, Medellin, Colombia

"We feel like contemporary witnesses, participants even, seeing the truth and feeling its power."
Alasdair I Macleod, St Andrews

"Alex MacDonald warms our hearts with his fusion of timeless truth through vibrant imagination."
W Duncan Rankin, Tennessee

"Written in a lively and original style, each chapter can be enjoyed individually or as part of a wider study of the lives of those who knew Jesus."
Life & Work, Church of Scotland Magazine

"... a practical and helpful reminder that we often fail to capture people's imagination in telling the exciting story the narrative of the New testament provides." Derek Prime, Edinburgh

Alex has at least two more books-worth of similar stories, the first of which are now freely available by clicking on the links below. They are in PDF format and of a suitable size to be read on a tablet. They can also be printed, but not changed.
